Engineering that goes aboard

We are an engineering team specialising in automation, instrumentation and data on board. We design, build, test and commission; and then we stay on through the campaign.

What we do

SILECMAR, S.L. was incorporated in Santander in November 2006 with a very specific purpose: providing engineering and industrial process consultancy services. Almost twenty years later we are still doing the same thing, applied to an environment where failure is expensive: the vessel.

We work in the layer that connects the machinery to the decision: sensors, PLCs, panels, communications, operator interfaces and data logging. We apply it to trawlers and tuna vessels, research vessels, merchants, tankers and workboats.

We do not sell a closed product, nor a bespoke development from scratch. We start from our own proven engineering base and adjust it to each vessel.
